How did you find the food in the commodore lounge.

We always use and found the food OK but last time we were on the Galicia and it’s was terrible so bad that we complained on board at reception and the guy just shrugged his shoulders and walked away. We then complained to Brittany and eventually after many email and trustpilot.com got a full refund. We have now not booked commodore lounge for our next 3 trips next year unfortunate as we really enjoyed the atmosphere of the lounge !!

    • The food was absolutely fine, we boarded Thursday evening and sadly they had scrapped the wine service (but it was 3 years we last bused it) but we had some cake and cola and heads to the bar ….

Friday breakfast was a varied affair of cooked (maybe not the scrambled eggs) and meats and cheese, plus obviously croissants etc, Coffee the terrible BF offering (far to bitter) so juice and a pot of twinnings tea for me

Lunch, a good selection of meats and cheese( 12 out 10 for This) plus some nice cous cous, slaw and some questionable salde mushrooms 😂

Oh and free flowing red, white and better still La Vieille Ferme rose Aka the chicken wine 🍷

Afternoon cookies 🍪 still warm plus other cakes

Dinner again fabulous selection of meats and cheese, plus hot options of soup, ratatouille and chicken curry with rice and more wine 🍷😆

I guess to be fair we drink the cost in wine alone 🥴 but the food was good and relaxed atmosphere perfect and in in my opinion worth it, as we had opted for a cabin which included lounge access, but we chatted to a couple who had paid an extra £80 each on their cabin price, so unlikely to be cost effective
