Kicking back in Foz, Galicia
With crashing waves creating a wonderful sound Verity our little Volkswagen is resting in the most amazing Camper Stop in this enchanting corner of Spain.

For the past three nights her wheels have rested in the Atalaia Camper park (N 43.5793, W 7.27402) which is impeccably run by its warm and very welcoming manager Munchi.

Situated a short 30 minutes walk from this former fishing port, the sea almost becomes the beach, with the best part of 15 km of beaches with fine white sand marking the entrance to this estuary.

Its marshlands are home to one of the largest marine bird colonies of northwest Spain, watched from above by seagulls, shearwaters and gannets that nest in the neighbouring cliffs.

A true coastal paradise, which allowed us mile, after mile of path to explore with ever changing vistas incase you need a reason to go WOW !

Paul.
