Alma Becomes Our Champagne HQ

So I promised Michele that we could stop off and perhaps sip a few bubbles…..

Alma, our trusty Adria Vision motorhome, rumbled to a stop, and we finally breathed in the crisp air of Épernay, the heart of Champagne country! 

For a few days, Michele has been yearning for this moment – to park Alma amidst the rolling vineyards and delve into the world’s most celebrated bubbly. 

So here we are on the aire, with views of the vines one side and glimpses of the city to the other

Épernay, with its grand champagne houses and charming streets, promised an unforgettable adventure.

Avenue de Champagne,this iconic avenue, a UNESCO World Heritage Site, is a must-visit. 

Lined with grand Champagne houses like Moët & Chandon, Mercier, and Pol Roger, it’s a testament to the region’s prestigious legacy.

Away from the champagne, it’s a really cute and captivating city.
