Denia Vlog – Part Two, The Torre Del Gerro
Hopefully you caught the vlog part one and are spending your winter with us in sunny Spain
We have based ourselves on a campsite just outside of Dénia, Spain and will be bringing you all the sights and sounds
Join us as we climb the very very steep hill to this amazing view point!
The Gerro Watchtower is visible from the seafront, indicating the end of our route.
An excellent, panoramic view of the Dénia bay, the coast of Les Rotes and the San Antonio Cape
Torre del Gerro, which means “The Jar Tower” in Spanish, was built in the 16th century to watch for pirates and marauding Arabs.
The tower is well preserved and still has the crest of the Kingdom of Valencia on the front.
Well worth the climb!
